How to block yourself from gambling: PAGCOR self-exclusion

By Editorial team · Updated Oct 8, 2026 · Editorial team

This guide is educational information, not financial advice or a promise of outcomes. 21+ only.

What self-exclusion does

Self-exclusion is a formal request to be barred from gambling. Once approved, PAGCOR-licensed operators must block you — closing or suspending accounts and refusing new registrations — across both land-based venues and licensed online platforms.

How to apply

PAGCOR accepts applications online through its Online Self-Exclusion Application (OSEA) at osea.pagcor.ph, and in person at its corporate office. Expect to provide a valid government ID, a recent photo and to verify your identity (for example with a live selfie). You choose an exclusion period; the shortest periods cannot be cancelled early.

Make it stick

Combine self-exclusion with practical steps: remove gambling apps, turn on spending limits in your bank or e-wallet where available, and tell someone you trust. Requirements and available periods can change — always follow the instructions on the official PAGCOR portal.
