How online gaming withdrawals work — and why they get delayed
By Editorial team · Updated Oct 6, 2026 · Editorial team
The stages of a withdrawal
- Requested: you ask for a payout in the cashier.
- Pending or under review: the operator checks your identity, bonus status and account activity.
- Approved: the operator releases the payment.
- Sent and received: the money travels over the payment rail to your e-wallet or bank.
Our withdrawal tests time the whole journey, from request to money received, because that is what matters to you.
The usual reasons for delays
- First withdrawal: most operators complete identity (KYC) checks before the first payout. Upload clear documents early.
- Name mismatch: the e-wallet or bank account must be in the same name as your gaming account.
- Unfinished wagering: an active bonus usually blocks withdrawals until its wagering is complete.
- Payment rail timing: InstaPay transfers are near-instant but capped per transaction; PESONet is processed in batches on banking days, so weekends and holidays add time.
- Limits: daily or per-transaction caps can split a large payout into several.
Tips for faster, safer payouts
- Verify your account before you deposit much.
- Withdraw to the same method you deposited with, where possible.
- Avoid “reversing” a pending withdrawal back into your balance — it is a common way to lose winnings you meant to keep.
- Keep screenshots of each request, its reference number and the time.
If a withdrawal is stuck
Contact support through the operator’s official site and ask for the reason in writing, with a ticket number. Send any missing documents through the official channel only. If the operator does not resolve it, you can escalate to PAGCOR as the licensing regulator. Never pay a third party who offers to “unlock” your withdrawal.
E-wallets and gaming
Since August 2025 the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas has required e-wallets to remove in-app links to gambling sites. See our guide on the BSP rules for what this means for deposits and withdrawals.

How long should a withdrawal take?
It varies by operator, payment method and whether checks are needed. That is why we publish measured medians with the number of tests, not promises. Past results do not guarantee future times.
Can an operator refuse to pay?
An operator may hold or refuse a payout if its published terms were broken (for example, bonus rules or duplicate accounts). Ask for the specific clause in writing, and escalate to PAGCOR if you disagree.
